About the roleSubsidiary Envisan is Jan De Nul Group's testing ground for innovative processing techniques and environmental technological solutions, and more importantly, a springboard to a circular world. Activities such as remediating contaminated sites, processing excavated soils, solving environmental issues in ports, canals, and waterways, and sustainably redeveloping brownfields create win-win situations for both the environment and the client.What you'll doAs a Project Engineer Planet Redevelopment, your main responsibilities will be:
Developing and budgeting remediation concepts during the prospecting and tendering phases under the guidance of the Business Unit Manager.
Presenting remediation concepts and budgets to the Business Unit Manager and the Commercial Area Manager.
Providing scientific and technical support to the Commercial Area Manager in the development of well-founded project proposals.
Guiding Junior Project Managers in the practical preparation of soil remediation projects and ensuring clear agreements with executing parties.
Monitoring the technical and financial aspects of soil remediation projects and responding quickly and efficiently to potential issues.
Supporting the tender department scientifically and technically in drafting well-supported proposals, including providing technical specifications and documentation.
Communicating with suppliers, clients, partners, and subcontractors during the tendering and execution phases to ensure accurate budgets and orders.
Supervising operational work on-site for international projects.
Coordinating planning and managing local workers during on-site execution, with a focus on time and budget management.
What do you need?
A Master’s degree in bioengineering or a similar field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the sector.
Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Knowledge of environmental legislation, remediation techniques, landfill installation techniques, processing techniques, and legislation regarding construction contracts is a plus.
