You will ensure that deliveries run as efficiently as possible and that any issues arising are dealt with promptly.This role can be based anywhere in the Sweden, and the work requires frequent travelling.Please note that this is an evergreen position, meaning this is an ongoing opportunity with continuous recruitment. As a result, you may not receive immediate feedback following application submission.Job Responsibilities
  • Carrying out commissioning: Unpack, set up and connect measuring device. Verify metrological specification. Familiarization with the basic functions.
  • Installing, adjusting and testing device components: Installing and adjusting metrologically relevant device components (e.g. slides, probe head, probe change bench, probe interface, etc.) and feed equipment. Carrying out a full error correction. Acceptance according to ISO and error analysis of the geometry fields.
  • Carrying out maintenance and servicing work: Carrying out difficult and high-quality maintenance and servicing work on the measuring device according to existing maintenance plans. Suggesting measures for economical maintenance and servicing and for adapting maintenance standards.
  • Carrying out complex fault diagnoses : Analyzing particularly difficult functional and metrological faults on complex metrological devices with mechanical, electronic, pneumatic and application technology components, if necessary using diagnostic tools (e.g. software analysis tools) and taking into account external influences (climate, etc.). Diagnose and specify these and inform the relevant departments about the faults that have occurred, the fault diagnoses and the measures taken to rectify the fault.
  • Carrying out complex repairs on site: Determine or agree on the type and scope of complex troubleshooting within his/her area of responsibility within the framework of specific guidelines according to efficient aspects and carry it out independently. In important cases, inform the supervisor and make suggestions for troubleshooting.
  • Carrying out retrofits (also on third-party devices) Uninstalling the components to be replaced (e.g. electronic controls, probes, button replacements, computers, software, etc.). Installation of the new components or integration of measuring devices on automated production systems. Performing functional tests and verifying accuracy.
  • Instructing others on the trade: Instructing third parties (own employees with less experience or qualifications and external tradespeople) in the assembly, set-up, conversion and installation of systems. Checking the work result. Ensure compliance with safety regulations. Support employees in improving their work processes
  • Carrying out technical training courses: Carrying out technical training for customers and employees in hardware (mechanics, electronics) as well as for maintenance, servicing and acceptance.
  • Creating reports and protocols: Create acceptance reports and detailed service reports (description of faults, diagnoses and measures taken).
Qualifications
  • High school education.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position that requires travelling to customers.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory)
