
Technical Sales Engineer/Calculator

- Interpret customer inquiries and specifications to propose suitable keg line configurations.
- Collaborate with sales managers to prepare technically accurate offers and project cost estimations.
- Support the external sales team with internal technical documentation, CAD layout suggestions, and system configuration guidelines.
- Calculate project-specific pricing based on bill of materials (BoM), standard costs, and project complexity.
- Maintain and update pricing models for modular system components and customized solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive technical-commercial proposals, including scope of supply, machine specifications, and utility requirements.
- Act as liaison between sales, design, engineering, and project teams to ensure technical feasibility and consistency of offers.
- Participate in internal design reviews for new or customized equipment solutions.
- Ensure alignment of calculations with project timelines, resource availability, and procurement constraints.
- Manage and maintain quotation databases, CRM records, and proposal archives.
- Assist in updating internal product catalogues and configurator tools.
- Monitor and report on proposal success rates, trends, and market feedback.
- You have a Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar internal technical sales or calculation position.
- Familiar with production machines used in the food- and beverage sector — preferably in the beer brewing sector.
- Good knowledge of pneumatics, automation and fluid transport systems.
- Strong MS Office skills; experience with CAD software (such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with an eye for detail.
- Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- You are familiar with ERP systems.
- You have strong technical knowledge and a proven track record in managing complex and long-term sales processes.
