CPChem is looking for a Technical Services Engineer for our Polymers Product LineAre you looking for an exciting challenge in our Polymers business, more specifically becoming a technical expert for our HDPE products?You will become one of our key technical-commercial experts for a dedicated product rangeYou will promote sales and visit customers together with our sales team members or product line managerYou will perform trouble shooting plus product and application developmentYou will be a focal point for a large range of technical subjectsThis position will be located in Diegem, with regular travel (several days per month), mainly to customers, industry fairs and occasionally our production facilities and technical center.For this key position in our polymers department, we are ideally looking for the following composition:a master degree in chemistry, polymers or equal through experienceideally 10+ years of experience in a technical/commercial environmentsolid expertise in polymers, preferably HDPE, with a thorough knowledge of the marketa positive, pro-active, can-do attitude with a creative, problem solving mindsetwillingness and ability to think outside the box and come up with continuous improvements or new ideasstrong communication skills and influencing skills to gain trust from your internal and external stakeholdersProficiency in English is required, both written and spoken; other European languages are an assetPerformance by design.
