Consequently, we are experts in the industry and we take on new challenges as we push technology forward.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Technology Engineer in our Financial Services Advisory practice, you will :
  • Bring fresh ideas from different areas, including information retrieval, large-scale system design, data storage/processing, security, artificial intelligence, UI design and mobile development
  • Design and implement cloud-based systems and infrastructure that meet the security, scalability, and compliance requirements of the financial sector
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve frontend applications, backend applications, and middleware components i.e. APIs; you will own the full life-cycle of your code : you write it, you own it !
  • Build, test, and maintain automated continuous integration and delivery workflows using Infrastructure as a Code and DevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Spot urgent problems at our clients and use state of the art technologies to provide solutions at a massive scale
  • Actively share your knowledge and expertise, foster a culture of continuous improvement and evolution and help the team evolve towards industry-leading best practices
  • Work in Agile mode utilizing frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, in small autonomous teams with short release cycles.
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Master degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Quantitative disciplines, etc.) or equivalent through experience
  • Professional experience (min. 1 - 6 y), ideally in consulting; exposure to the financial industry (banking or insurance) is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset
  • Strong software development skills in one or more general purpose programming languages, such as Java, JavaScript/NodeJS,…) or other deep relevant technology skills in the areas of Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), DevOps and/or Microservices.
  • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
  • Familiarity with cloud-based and DevOps technologies and tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience as a contributor to open source projects; contributor to GitHub and/or Stack overflow
