JOB PURPOSE:We are looking for a Strategic Planning Specialist reporting to the Head of Strategic Planning & Business Intelligence. This is an EMEA role, based in Zaventem, Belgium.Strategic Planning plays a crucial role in to co-shaping and executing BSEMEA Strategy. The Strategic Planner is responsible for driving the Mid-Term & Long-Term Planning processes and also the Strategic Priorities and Initiatives portfolio of EMEA.He/she monitors economic and business outlook, provides insights to the business to navigate through uncertain market conditions and make informed strategic decisions. He/she also works in close cooperation with the Market Intelligence Analyst to gather insights into market trends in tire and automotive industries and competitor benchmarking.MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:Operationally drive the preparation of the Annual Budget and Mid-Term Business Plan together with the Management Board, main HQ Functions and the Regions.Support preparation of the Long Term Operating Plan, being in charge of qualitative/ rationale build-up (long-term forecasts, market scenarios etc.)Support and perform strategy studies that bring actionable insights and create value for EMEA business (building the case, competitive & financial analysis etc.)Provide macro-economic, market and sectoral insights and forecasts to support EMEA Strategy with regular and ad-hoc studies (project management, building the case, data gathering, analysis & extracting insights on projects related to market demand, tire competition analysis, strategic fields such CASE trends etc).Support formulation of Strategic Initiatives, manage the portfolio and review agenda, monitor the performanceWork with stakeholders to monitor and report Global KPIsREQUIREMENTS:Education and Language:Masters degree in Business, Economics or FinanceFluent in English. A second European language is a plusExperience:4-6 years previous experiencePrevious experience in corporate strategy / planning, with exposure to Top Management, is highly preferredUnderstanding of financial concepts (P&L, balance sheet, financial calculations like IRR, NPV, etc…)Competencies:Good strategic understanding of businessAbility to work in a multicultural environmentAbility to think creatively, adapt to changing circumstances and find innovative solutions to complex problems is essentialSelf-starter, driven by intrinsic motivation and a strong sense of accountability for their workPrecise, analytical but able to see the bigger pictureIntellectually curious and looking at new trends in the world and in automotive industry and consumer behaviour in generalExcellent communication and networking skillsAble to respect deadlines and to cope with stress of working side by side with Top ManagementMORE INFORMATIONAll applications will be reviewed.
