The client is looking foe a Business Development Manager Foodservice - FMCG Dairy sector to join his team in Brussels.The Business Development Manager Foodservice will develop and implement Foodservice strategies to drive sales growth and brand presence. In addition, he will build added-value concepts with priority products and innovations and create and execute marketing & sales activities for target segments and customers.Directly reporting to the Sales Director, the position includes the following responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a hands-on business development strategy for the Belgian foodservice sector.
  • Build and implement an innovation plan based on European product portfolio & industrial capabilities.
  • Identify and prioritize target segments and customers within the foodservice to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Develop targeted sales and marketing campaigns and promotional activities with a profound knowledge of the route-to-the-market.
  • Involve Dutch FoodService Team to maximize the deployment & compatibility with the Dutch market.
  • Create marketing materials, including brochures and presentations.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and events, ensuring effective representation and engagement with potential customers.
  • Provide regular updates, reports, KPI's and insights to senior management on business development and marketing activities and results.
Foodservice |Market trend strategy
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Management / Sales / Marketing
  • 6-7 years of experience 5+ years of experience in Business Development or Marketing within the Foodservice, preferably in cheese or dairy sector.
  • Languages (FR / NL / EN)
  • Strong entrepreneurial & strategic skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, analytic and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Trilingual French / Dutch / English
