Ideatec is looking for a Firmware and Hardware Developer.Ideatec designs and manufactures embedded electronic products (controllers and sirens) for emergency and intervention vehicles.For over 25 years, Ideatec has offered products such as touch screen consoles, configurable central units, and high-performance sirens. Its R&D department is responsible for designing electronic boards for:1 - User interfaces (touch screen consoles, button consoles),2 – Embedded power boxes,3 – Control interfaces (heating, ventilation, etc.)4 – Siren modules (generator/amplifier).Embedded firmware is also developed by the R&D team and is subject to continuous evolution and improvement.Ideatec has become a benchmark in the controller market in over 20 countries, and innovation is part of its DNA.Your mission:- New product development- Improvement of existing products- Participation in the development of specifications- Participation in defining technological orientations- Technical support to customers- Contact with subcontractors and management of technical files made available to them- Creation of test benches and procedures for validation- Creation and maintenance of technical documentationProfile:- Civil or industrial engineer in electronics or A1 electronics technician (M/F/X)- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in software development: C and C++- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in hardware development: schematics, BOM creation, PCB design on Altium- Knowledge and/or experience with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth- Knowledge and/or experience with CAN bus- Knowledge of project management (V-cycle)- Creative, able to propose innovative solutions- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts- Languages: French and English required, another language is an asset- Organized, able to manage priorities, methodical and rigorous in order to achieve customer satisfaction-oriented goals- Motivated, versatile, and dynamic, able to work in a team- Interest in the automotive sector is an asset- Interest in mechanical 3D design, knowledge of Solidworks is an assetOffer:- Integration into a company specializing for nearly 30 years in an exciting niche field- Play a key role within an R&D team constantly seeking innovations for our products- Training opportunities- A full-time permanent contract (possibility of 4/5 time), 2 days per week of telecommuting.- Competitive salary package including company car (electric with charging card), meal vouchers, comprehensive hospitalization insurance, pension plan, phone and subscription, telecommuting allowance- A position within a human-sized company that is a leader in its field, applying a policy of well-being and safety at work.
