The Group is a key actor for the security of people and goods, infrastructure and nations.Thales Belgium SA, Belgium competence center of Thales, is a company located on 2 sites, one in Tubize (near Brussels) and the other one in Herstal (near Liège).Thales Belgium, is specialized in the design, development and supply of critical information systems for customers in the sectors of Defense, Security (including Cyber), Transport and Aerospace.For its activities, Thales Belgium SA (Tubize site) is looking for a :Senior Project ManagerMission:You are responsible for major hardware and software development projects for the company.You lead and are accountable for the contracts deliveries to reach customer satisfaction where technical, industrial, financial and time constraints demand decisive leadership.As such, you manage, coordinate and coach external and internal (Customer, partners, suppliers, sub-contractors) transverse teams with capacity to guide and direct others to deliver.This responsibility is exercised from contract signature to the contract completion period.Main Responsibilities:
Manage the customer relationship and ensure that the customer strategic vision and business objectives are met
Ensure the realization and optimization of the contractual requirements (with the customers as well as with the subcontractors) in respect of budgets, quality levels, schedules and business segment strategy
Manage, supervise and coach the internal and external stakeholders in a transverse way
Model, follow and improve the financial results on the program by identifying solutions and managing risk and opportunities
Ensure product safety and compliance with standards and regulations
Manage closing of the project by capitalizing and sharing on experience (lessons learnt).
Profile:Educational Background
Civil or industrial engineer, Business School Master Degree, MBA or equivalent by experience
Languages: Native French and/or Dutch + Fluent English
Skills
Strong experience in delivery & operation management for large programs in a high-tech and complex environment
Experience in hardware and software development projects is a strong asset
Contract and change management experience
Customers and subcontractors relationships experience
Experience in public sector is a plus
Experience within international groups is a plus
Knowledge in program management methodology (preferably, IPMA certification, Prince II or PMI)
Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
