About the roleWe are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn HSE Coordinator to join our team of five HSE professionals. Reporting directly to the HSE Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while fostering a strong safety culture across the organization. This role offers a great opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic environment.Key responsibilities includeHealth & Safety Compliance:
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE policies and procedures.
  • Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with legal and company safety standards.
  • Assist in incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and propose preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with different departments to enhance workplace safety.
Training & Awareness:
  • Organize and deliver HSE training sessions for employees and contractors.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, and best practice sharing.
  • Keep employees informed on safety regulations and updates.
Environmental Management:
  • Monitor environmental performance and support sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist in compliance with environmental laws and reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to waste management, energy efficiency, and emissions reduction programs.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain and update HSE records, including incident reports, audits, training logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist in preparing reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
  • Support the HSE Manager in developing and updating safety procedures and policies.
About you
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Health and Safety degree level 1
  • Environmental degree A or B
  • 2-5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessments, and incident investigation.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team of HSE professionals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HSE reporting tools.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Identifies risks before they become issues and takes initiative to implement solutions.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Works effectively with cross-functional teams and influences others to prioritize safety.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Seeks opportunities to enhance HSE performance through best practices and innovation.
  • Strong Communication & Training Skills: Able to educate and engage employees at all levels on HSE topics.
  • Motivated & Eager to Learn: Continuously developing HSE knowledge and staying up-to-date with regulations.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ensures compliance through structured processes and accurate reporting.
  • Hands-On & Practical Approach: Combines theoretical knowledge with practical safety solutions.
