Description :DGA Group is seeking an experienced public affairs practitioner with extensive experience in health policy to join our award-winning team in Brussels as an Associate Partner. As an Associate Partner at DGA, you will play a leading role in both the delivery of high-quality work across a range of health sector clients and the development of the health and life sciences business. Responsibilities
Client leadership: Leading accounts, including strategy development, programme implementation and budgeting across range of health and life sciences clients.
Policy and Stakeholder Engagement: Represent clients vis a vis EU institutions, stakeholders, and trade associations.
Policy Monitoring: Co-lead our European policy monitoring efforts as part of broader global health policy team to track political developments and policy trends impacting the health and life sciences sector. Monitoring political developments and providing recommendations to team and clients on the implications and possible actions.
Strategic Development: Design and implement innovative, integrated public affairs and communications campaigns to shape broader policy environment.
Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities through your network and sector expertise. Leading and supporting pitch process including the development of strategy and innovative approaches.
Team Management: Support lead Partner and fellow Associate Partners to mentor and develop team of bright, talented consultants and contribute to building a high-performing Brussels team. Supporting on the delivery of services by other members of the team to ensure client programmes and projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Networking and Thought Leadership: Contribute to the agency’s visibility through events, publications, and stakeholder engagement. Maintaining strong Brussels network and representing DGA vis a vis your network and the broader European health community.
Qualifications
10-15+ years’ experience working in health policy and communications; including in-house experience in pharma and / or consulting/advisory.
Demonstratable excellence in both verbal and written communications.
In-depth knowledge of health and regulatory policy and a strong understanding of EU decision-making processes and broader influencers.
Excellent command of the European health policy eco-system and regulatory landscape.
Critical thinking, problem solving and proficient leadership qualities.
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in an international team.
Languages: Fluent in English; and one other EU language
Network: Strong Brussels network within EU institutions, industry groups, and relevant stakeholders.
