- Define and execute long-term marketing strategies for both markets
- Establish brand priorities, identify key business drivers, and optimize return on investment across the portfolio
- Identify market opportunities and implement impactful brand strategies
- Design a future-focused, multi-channel innovation roadmap
- Oversee budget responsibility for the marketing function
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable marketing initiatives (advertising, media, and promotional activities)
- Partner with commercial teams to design and execute go-to-market plans
- Develop and manage annual marketing budgets
- Leverage consumer and market insights
- Lead and inspire marketing teams across both countries
- Support team development through mentorship, training, and career progression planning
- Manage team performance
- Collaborate closely with the regional marketing leader
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Represent the marketing function within the local leadership team (be part of the SteerCo)
- Master in Business Engineering or Economics
- At least 10 years in senior marketing roles within the FMCG
- Ability to build, manage, and inspire cross-market teams
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills;
- Solid understanding of business and financial drivers
- In-depth familiarity with the Belgian and Dutch market
- Strong capabilities in communications, media planning, creative development, and campaign execution.
- Experience thriving in matrixed
- Fluent in Dutch, French and English
