Morgan Philips Executive Search is partnering with a prominent financial institution to recruit a Senior Business Developer (F/M) Corporate Banking, who will play a strategic role in expanding and nurturing the bank’s mid and large corporate client base in Belgium (role based in Luxembourg).As part of the corporate banking division, your primary responsibility will be to drive business development by acquiring new clients and deepening relationships with existing ones, offering bespoke and forward-thinking financial solutions aligned with their evolving needs.Main Responsibilities:Spearhead the acquisition of new mid and large corporate clients, particularly those with complex needs, to strengthen the overall Corporate Banking portfolio.Cultivate and maintain a robust network of external stakeholders - including clients, advisors, and strategic partners - to identify new business opportunities and showcase the bank’s full value proposition.Work in close synergy with relationship managers and business development peers to identify client challenges and propose tailor made solutions such as cash management and tailored lending structures.Take the lead in drafting high-impact proposals and coordinating with internal subject-matter experts (e.g., Corporate Finance, DCM) to deliver end-to-end client solutions, before handing over daily relationship management to the appropriate team.Actively promote the Corporate Banking offering, both internally and externally, and serve as a front-line representative for compliance and risk governance.Provide valuable insights on market developments, client behavior, competitive positioning, and pricing trends to support strategic decision-making.Represent the bank at public forums including industry conferences, professional workshops, and corporate networking events in Belgium.Comply with internal procedures and regulatory obligations (KYC, AML, etc.), ensuring accurate documentation and CRM system updates.Your Profile:Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Relationship Manager within the corporate banking sector in Belgium, with a proven track record in business development and client portfolio growth.Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.Strong expertise in managing corporate client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and structuring complex financial solutions.Sound knowledge of capital markets products, with the ability to align them with corporate client needs.In-depth understanding of the legal, tax, and regulatory frameworks affecting corporate banking in Belgium.Strong awareness of credit and risk management processes, especially in the context of complex or sensitive transactions.An established and active network of professional contacts, including corporate clients, legal advisors.... * Fluent in French, Dutch, and EnglishThis newly created position represents an excellent opportunity to join a major European player in the banking sector, at a time of significant growth and strategic reinforcement of its Corporate Banking offering, particularly in the Belgian market.If are you interested in exploring this opportunity, please send us your application, which will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
