This a great opportunity to be part of our amazing HR teams throughout BeNe.As an HR Advisor, you are the point of contact for managers and employees when it comes to HR at your location. In this role you will give advice, both solicited and unsolicited, on various HR issues. You work closely with HR colleagues within other GXO locations and with your colleagues from the operation. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various developments actively and visibly within HR and personnel policy.What you do on a typical day
  • You are involved in advising, supporting, and coaching managers in the process of inflow, through, and outflow
  • You are involved in the recruitment and selection of new employees, guidance of improvement processes in the event of dysfunction, training of employees
  • Assists the managers in conducting (complex) conversations in the field of, among other things, absenteeism, functioning, and training
  • You answer questions from employees regarding the HRM policy and associated laws and regulations
  • You will assist our colleagues in Paris and will be there on a monthly base to provide the assistance and service needed
What do you need to succeed at GXO
  • You have a completed bachelor's degree in the field of HR, or a comparable level of knowledge
  • You have work experience in a similar position, preferably in a logistics environment
  • You are aware of the Belgium and French laws and regulations in the field of HRM
  • Strong communication skills both orally and in writing, in French, Flemish (Dutch), and English
  • You have some experience in change management
  • Able to set priorities and boundaries in the execution of your tasks and not lose sight of the customer focus
  • Able to visit in Paris office monthly
