Strong planning and organizational skills are required to excel in this role.Key responsibilitiesDesign and develop software architecture for embedded systems, ensuring stability throughout the lifecycleApprove technical choices, provide leadership to the development team, and integrate software with hardware componentsDefine software solutions based on system specifications, including power, processing, and data budgetsDevelop embedded software using microprocessors and Linux RTOS architectureMaintain and upgrade existing embedded systems, guaranteeing compliance with project standardsOversee code quality with tools like SonarQube and verify test coverage through unit testing proceduresDebug low-level software using oscilloscopes and debug probesWhat we're looking forMaster's degree in Software or Electronic Engineering+10 years of working experience in SoftwareExpertise in C and Python for embedded real-time applications (C++ is a plus)Deep knowledge of microcontrollers, bare metal, or Linux RTOS architecture (Yocto and Docker knowledge is a plus)Experience with communication systems (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet TCP-IP, MIL-STD-1553/1760, ARINC429)Familiarity with NXP processors, Holt remote terminal interfaces, Lauterbach TRACE32 tools, and SEGGER debug probesExperience in aeronautics, space, defense, or automotive industries; knowledge of DO-178, ARP4754, or ISO26262 is a plusFluency in English and FrenchWhy join us?At VeroTech, we empower engineers to grow, innovate, and lead.
