Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for a Plant Finance Business Partner who is curious and agile to join us in our team based in Braine, Belgium.About the roleIn your role as Plant Finance Partner, you will be the primary point of contact for local manufacturing operations in Braine for key financial deliverables: financial planning, performance monitoring, decision making and agile resource (re)allocations.Who you’ll work withYou will also ensure and maintain a strong relationship with staekholders across the company and will provide specific expertise in transversal financial areas (E2E value chains, projects, process and systems set-up,…). You will need to be fluent in spoken and written French and English.What you’ll doYou will contribute to UCBs sustainable value creation by being an effective financial guardian and proactively challenge through functional & data management:
  • Deep understanding of business reality & related drivers:
  • Explain the variances vs budget, trends and provide insights
  • Work with business partners in understanding and interpreting financial data (business reviews)
  • Perform monthly closing, dashboarding, monitor variances and ad-hoc analysis
  • Focus on Value creation for assets in Braine Technical Operations’ portfolio.
  • Solution driven, providing financial expertise and data support for decision making
  • Provide and facilitate financial and operational support where required
  • Become a trusted business partner for our customers
  • Be an ambassador for change
  • Support optimal resource (re)allocation
  • Drive financial planning exercises for ensuring completeness, accuracy of the underlying data (CAPEX, OPEX, Cost of Goods calculations) in accordance with UCBs strategic ambitions and ensure that these are being reviewed and reported in a timely manner to the relevant stakeholders.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
  • Educated to BSc or MSc (or equivalent)
  • Fluent in spoken and written French and English
  • Knowledge of accounting and closing procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of; SAP Fico, SAP MM, BI Cognos and budget tools
  • Advanced user of MS Excel & PowerPoint
  • Previous exposure to AI and Advanced Analytics solutions
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Confident to interact with management
  • Ability to identify new performance metrics
  • Solutions focused
