- Deep understanding of business reality & related drivers:
- Explain the variances vs budget, trends and provide insights
- Work with business partners in understanding and interpreting financial data (business reviews)
- Perform monthly closing, dashboarding, monitor variances and ad-hoc analysis
- Focus on Value creation for assets in Braine Technical Operations’ portfolio.
- Solution driven, providing financial expertise and data support for decision making
- Provide and facilitate financial and operational support where required
- Become a trusted business partner for our customers
- Be an ambassador for change
- Support optimal resource (re)allocation
- Drive financial planning exercises for ensuring completeness, accuracy of the underlying data (CAPEX, OPEX, Cost of Goods calculations) in accordance with UCBs strategic ambitions and ensure that these are being reviewed and reported in a timely manner to the relevant stakeholders.
- Educated to BSc or MSc (or equivalent)
- Fluent in spoken and written French and English
- Knowledge of accounting and closing procedures
- Advanced knowledge of; SAP Fico, SAP MM, BI Cognos and budget tools
- Advanced user of MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Previous exposure to AI and Advanced Analytics solutions
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Confident to interact with management
- Ability to identify new performance metrics
