Production Supervisor – Circular Battery Processing (Precycling)

You report directly to the COO of Sortbat.Your responsibilities:You are responsible for leading, coaching and motivating a team of operators and technicians and act as the first point of contact for production-related questions.You manage the workforce schedule and ensure effective task distribution on the shop floor.You ensure accurate and timely execution of production assignments and closely monitor progress.You oversee the quality of work, output, orderliness, cleanliness, and compliance with safety procedures.You report daily on production volumes, downtimes, quality issues and staffing.You take initiative to propose improvements and actively participate in optimisation projects (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, etc.).You ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO or internal guidelines) in the production process.You organise toolbox meetings and safety rounds to guarantee a safe working environment.You coordinate minor technical maintenance and report malfunctions to the technical team.You manage the stock of consumables and track orders and deliveries of auxiliary materials.You support the development and improvement of new processes for the disassembly and testing of EV batteries.You actively contribute to the transition towards sustainable energy solutions.You are part of a team building unique expertise in a future-oriented sector.What do we expect from you?You are looking for a meaningful job where technology, sustainability and innovation come together.You are ready to take responsibility and coach a team within a growing company.You have an affinity with energy, sustainability or the circular economy (a plus).You hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., electricity, electromechanics, energy technologies) or have equivalent experience.You have at least 3 years of experience in a production environment, preferably in a supervisory role.You have a solid understanding of high and low voltage systems and know how to work safely around electrical components.You are technically skilled and have a hands-on mentality.You understand safety procedures, particularly concerning lithium batteries (fire hazard, short circuits, gas formation).You preferably have knowledge of recycling and sorting processes.You are experienced in documenting test results and accurately recording operational data.You work with a strong safety mindset and ideally have experience with VCA or ADR standards (or are willing to undergo training).What we offer:A place in an innovative niche market with great future potentialReal growth opportunities within Sortbat and our wider European groupA working environment where safety and people come firstAccess to training on batteries, electrical safety, second-life applications, and moreAn attractive salary package with various fringe benefitsA motivated and supportive team, an enjoyable work atmosphere, and direct impact on the production floo
