In search ofRecently, COPILOT, a Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking CSA project was granted. As the COPILOT Platform Manager, you will coordinate the project and act as the Platform Manager in close collaboration with the Stakeholder Relations Manager and the Communication Manager. COPILOT is the follow-up project of the Pilots4U project that was coordinated by BBEPP (2017-2019). Pilots4U built a unique database and network of European open access pilot and multipurpose demo-infrastructures for the bio-economy. Under the wings of the COPILOT project, this important database and community will be further developed and expanded.As a Project Acquisition Manager, you are responsible for acquiring consortia-based projects, more specifically for “Coordination and Support Actions (CSA)”. In case the submitted projects get funded, you coordinate the projects that are assigned to you. In this way, we can guarantee a smooth transfer of the set objectives and knowledge to the executive team and project partners. You remain the general point of contact, unless mutually agreed otherwise.As the COPILOT Platform Manager:· You coordinate the COPILOT project (see above), in interaction with the project partners and in close collaboration with the Stakeholder Relations Manager (SRM) and the Communication Manager.· You are responsible for the execution and reporting in accordance with budget, timing and planned deliverables. You discuss with the colleagues and project partners involved on how to translate deliverables into different tasks.· You shape an easily accessible and well-functioning database with a procured software developer in close collaboration with the SRM.· Together with the SRM, you manage, foster and expand the COPILOT community, of which the open access pilot and demo facilities community currently consists of +/- 110 facilities spread around Europe.· You support the COPILOT Stakeholder Relations Manager in networking activities and representing the COPILOT community at meetings, conferences, events and in interaction with members of the different COPILOT communities and with different types of stakeholders such as regional and European authorities and policy makers, clusters, associations, and other relevant and/or similar regional and international initiatives.As a Project Acquisition CSA Manager:· You regularly consult with the Head of Business Operations and the COPILOT Stakeholder Relations Manager about the CSA subsidy-options and you discuss potential CSA project opportunities with the other members of the Project Acquisition Team. In addition, you attend conferences, workshops and brokerage events to present project results and to do active networking. These activities should contribute to the identification of new partners in new consortia. You connect possible customers for new bilateral projects with the business development team.· When writing a concrete proposal, you can discuss with the Head of Business Operations, the COPILOT Stakeholder Relations Manager and/or colleagues of the Project Acquisition Team for the strategy, budget and implementation. In case the project will be coordinated by BBEPP, you compose a consortium that can carry out all aspects of the proposed project. If BBEPP is a partner, then you provide the necessary information in discussion with the consortium/coordinator and you put up a budget for the work that needs to be done at BBEPP. You keep the Head of Business Operations up to date on the broad outlines and implications for BBEPP.· For the coordination of running/funded projects, you are responsible for the execution and reporting in accordance with budget, timing and planned deliverables. You are results-oriented and can manage project timelines, meet deadlines and achieve goals. You have experience managing complex projects, including budget management, risk assessment and team coordination.· You can develop, implement and maintain operational and administrative processes that organize and structure the operation of the platform. Experience in developing databases is a plus.· You have experience in writing financing applications (e.g. Interreg, Horizon Europe, CBE JU) or you are prepared to learn! You can develop a project application on a content level and put together an international consortium.· You adore networking.· Excellent MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook skills.· Excellent English speaking and writing skills (Dutch and/or other languages is a plus)What do we offer you?We offer a dynamic, international and vibrant working environment with excellent perspectives for the future.
