Exail Robotics develops its own software for the mission and data management of its unmanned vehicles, as well as the infrastructure hosting it. As an all-round IT specialist, you are the reference regarding integration of software and hardware evolutions on our platforms.YOUR TASKSDesign/R&D projectsYou design and implement new external interfaces, with different servers, applications and vehicles.You participate actively in the functional analysis and design phases (architecture evaluation, requirements analysis, system design and documentation).Deployment and UpdatesYou deploy and test our proprietary software on new platforms, as well as updating existing installations with new features and updates.You verify compatibility between hardware and software.When necessary, you automate deployment and test routines.Testing & ValidationYou are the primary contact person for the last stages of validation for software evolutions, providing clear feedback to the software teams regarding the state of the software, with special attention to reliability and security aspects.Infrastructure maintenanceTogether with our support team, you maintain our internal infrastructure (servers, networking, communication stack,Navy SupportWhen required, you assist our support team with the analysis and correction of issues, as well as the deployment of fixes and new features.YOUR SKILLS:You are proficient in English.You have profound knowledge of software/IT stacks containing various user interfaces, live connections and multiple databases.You understand what Agile development and CICD is.Knowledge of virtualization techniques (VMWare) and docker/podman type tools; Windows OS (mainly) and Linux;Experience writing scripts (Python, Bash,...)Network knowledge: layer2/3 networkingExperience in automating deployment processes (Jenkins, Ansible) and testingConfiguration management (GIT, PLM)Ticketing and bug management with JIRAYou have at least a master’s degree in computer science/engineering and minimal 2 years of working experience.You have solid problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.You have solid inter-personal skills enabling you to interact both with users as well as software and hardware specialists.Employment is based on Mouscron or Ostend.
