Our client is seeking a Senior IT Manager to lead its digital transformation and ensure robust, secure, and efficient IT operations. The role combines strategic planning, project management, cybersecurity oversight, and hands-on coordination of infrastructure, support, and vendor relationships.As a Senior IT Manager for our client, you will be in charge of the following responsibilities :
  • Define the IT strategy aligned with the organization's overall strategy.
  • Lead IT projects in coordination with stakeholders (monitor development and production rollout of system changes).
  • Validate delivered solutions and ensure proper functional implementation.
  • Ensure maintenance of applications and systems (with external support if needed).
  • Implement IT governance processes to ensure compliance, security, and quality of information systems.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of IT solutions (GDPR, cybersecurity, IT audits).
  • Follow up on IT audits: respond to inquiries and implement auditors' recommendations.
  • Oversee incident and support request management, ensuring continuous service for business users (via IT Officer and external IT provider).
  • Ensure compliance with NIS2 requirements.
  • Internally lead the compliance project.
  • Implement and supervise IT security, data privacy, and risk management measures.
  • Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans (BCP/DRP).
  • Draft RFPs, analyze proposals, and assist in selecting suitable functional solutions.
  • Optimize IT costs and ensure strict budget tracking; monitor system performance and ensure ROI on tech investments.
  • Define KPIs to track IT performance and cybersecurity risk protection effectiveness.
  • Coordinate IT operational activities to ensure quality, rigor, and timely delivery.
  • Act as the technical reference for tools, infrastructure, and information systems, and assist in resolving complex issues.
  • Facilitate collaboration with other departments by representing IT in cross-functional projects.
  • Oversee relationships with external providers (software vendors, hosting services).

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering, Finance, or Business with an IT specialization.
  • At least 5 to 10 years as an IT Manager.
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure and user support.
  • Experience in IT project management, process improvement, and vendor oversight (including budgeting and risk management).
  • Experience in securing information systems and managing cyber risks.
  • Fluency in French, Dutch and English is mandatory.
  • IT Infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory, Virtualization.
  • IT Security: Knowledge of GDPR, IT audits, and especially cyber risk management (NIS2 requirements, IT security standards and tools like firewalls, identity management, Microsoft Defender).
  • Cloud & Collaboration: Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams.
  • Network Management: TCP/IP, VPN, secure Wi-Fi.
  • Management Systems: ERP (Odoo), document management systems (DMS).
  • Monitoring & ITSM Tools: Azure Portal, Microsoft Admin Center, Intune.
