As the person responsible for Environment, Health and Safety within ScioTeq, you will bear responsibility for developing,implementing and maintaining policies and procedures that ensure the health, safety and well-being of our employees and the environmentin which we work. In the future, you will be responsible for facility coordination.Your responsibilities- You monitor safety and environmental performance, as well as recommend priorities of actions and solutions for improvement.- You identify safety risks inherent in the organisation's activities and you draw up procedures for theimplementation of preventive measures.- You develop and implement a risk assessment methodology for all company activities at the site.- You monitor environmental and safety programmes for compliance with company standards and applicable legislation.- You play an active role in the safety committee by providing advice and guidance.- You are responsible for carrying out project management, including the planning and monitoring of realisation within projects and thenegotiations with suppliers.- You negotiate maintenance contracts with potential suppliers and assist the purchasing department in financialnegotiations.- At a later stage, you manage the day-to-day activities of the facilities department, including space planning and budget management.- You will report to the Operations Director.- You have several years' experience as a prevention consultant, minimum level 2.- Your accreditation as an environmental coordinator level B is a nice plus.- You can present relevant experience in a technical environment.- You are a natural leader, focused on results and quality.- You have strategic insight and can easily adapt to business objectives.- You work smoothly independently and enjoy managing complex situations.- You communicate fluently, and are strong in persuasion and negotiation.- You are strong in maintaining professional relations with the various stakeholders.- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is an added advantage.Offer You will join an international environment where innovation is key and colleagues who share determination, as well as high working standards that move the world forward.
