Make your mark for patientsTo strengthen our Global Analytical Operations department, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: LIMS Master Data Senior Administrator – Braine l’Alleud.About the role
  • Ensure an optimal master data management within the labware LIMS sytem.
  • Ensure that LIMS Labware system is maintained in a way that it supports the various laboratory analytical processes in an efficient and effective manner
  • Manage the implementation and the follow-up of global digital projects involving the LIMS
The position is mainly focused on the Labware LIMS system but may be extended to the administration and project management related to other systems (e.g., but not limited to: Discoverant, qlicksense).What you will doA. Main accountabilities are around 2 pillars:
  • LIMS master data configuration, develop & share system knowledge & expertise to:
  • Ensure master Data Configuration schedule and coordination to anticipate and responds to business needs
  • Configuration right first time of LIMS master data like specification/method/sampling plan within the LIMS (creation/update)
  • Qualification of master data configuration
  • Continuous Improvement and participation to the development of master data configuration process
  • Ensure with LIMS Business expert consistency of LIMS data structure across processes and in its connectivity with other systems (SAP, LDMA, ELN)
  • Recognized as expert, ensure product and system training and sharing of knowledge with less/no experienced member of the team
  • Manage global digital projects:
  • Lead and ensure delivery in quality, in time and in budget of global projects under scope from beginning to end
  • Organize project’s structure and governance, manage related meetings
  • Collaborate with IT & vendor project managers to coordinate the activities of UCB’s
  • Lead the gathering & formalization of user requirements (incl. process & data flows and metadata management), the acceptance testing & performance qualification of the delivered solution and the training of end-users, guaranteeing that our needs are properly defined (and aligned across departments) and supported by the final product

  • Identifies and implement appropriate solutions to complex problems within scope of work
  • Contribute to the preparation and follow-up of the audits
  • Able to lead project in the field
  • Be able to define and implement complex/global change control
  • Ensure follow up of deviations and appropriate root cause analysis
  • Ensure adequate training to maintain and improve competency level
C. HSE
  • Apply the company's Health and Safety policy
  • Ensure a safe working environment to meet site safety objectives
D. Back-up roleThe position can act as back-up for his colleagues or manager upon request by manager and after appropriate training.Interested? For this position you’ll need the following experience and skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a GMP environment
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience
  • Strong understanding of laboratory computerized systems, both from a business and IT perspective is beneficial
  • Knowledge of LIMS system and relational databases is a plus
  • Quick grasp of how system functionalities align with business needs
  • Project management skills, ability to assess resources against workload, and create effective action plans. Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Commitment to operational excellence and compliance in decision-making
  • Analytical skills and a problem-solving approach
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficient in stakeholders’ management
