Our client is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator- Project to support high-stakes negotiations and project initiatives within a complex retail food environment. You'll transform raw data into strategic insights, streamline processes, and contribute directly to board-level presentations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport ongoing negotiations with in-depth data analysis and strategic reportingCreate impactful presentations for important stakeholders and purchasing departmentPrepare retrospectives, dashboards, and reports post-negotiationAssist in onboarding shareholders and suppliers into negotiation cyclesCoordinate the kick-off and content planning of large-scale negotiation eventsTranslate raw data from suppliers and internal sources into actionable insightsEnsure the smooth flow of internal communication and updates to leadershipProvide hands-on support to the lead negotiator (Natalia) in daily prioritiesPlay a key role in fast-moving, high-impact projectsWork closely with different stakeholders in a strategic environmentSuccessful Candidate ProfileHolds a bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in business, economics, purchasing, or a related fieldHas at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the retail sector, ideally within food distributionDemonstrates prior exposure to purchasing or negotiation processesFluent in both English and French; knowledge of German and/or Dutch is a strong assetPossesses strong analytical skills and enjoys working with numbers and dataProactive, autonomous, organized, assertive and solutions-orientedStrong interpersonal skills with an extroverted, hands-on communication styleUnderstands the commercial and operational challenges of the retail food industryA key player in the food retail industry, our client operates in a fast-paced environment where purchasing decisions have a direct impact on business performance.
