We strongly encourage applications from talent across all dimensions of race/ethnicity and the LGBTQ+, differently abled.The Role:We are looking for an experienced consultant (Director level) to join our Technology and Digital Economy team in Brussels.This is an exciting opportunity to design and implement impactful EU and multi-market tech related policy campaigns that will contribute to shaping the future of the European tech ecosystem. In this role, you will be able to work with a wide range of stakeholders (e.g. EU and national policymakers, industry, civil society and media influencers) with a view to drive tangible and meaningful policy impact.What you'll do as you move with us:
  • Design, lead and implement pan-European technology related strategies and campaigns.
  • Lead and act as senior trusted advisor across several technology clients including management of client teams and all financial aspects.
  • Contribute to growing the BCW technology practice by:
- Ensuring organic client growth.- Leading on new business development - responding to requests for proposals, leading pitches and proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities both externally and within the BCW network.- Taking ownership and actively engaging in team member development by empowering them with the knowledge and skills to become the go-to advisors on tech in Brussels.Experience that contributes to your success:
  • Extensive experience in a consultancy, EU institution(s), trade association or in a corporate role.
  • Expertise across EU technology policy issues.
  • Proven experience of leading projects is essential as well as involvement in building strong client relationships.
  • Track record of campaign development and successfully influencing policy.
  • Experienced networker with established network in Brussels with relevant policymakers, business leaders and influencers in the technology sector.
  • Experience of managing account financials, internal forecasting, and reporting.
  • Proven experience in new business development.
