- Responsible and accountable for the management and optimisation of all logistics, transportation and warehouse related activities for the Manufacturing business, including collaboration with 3rd Party Logistics (3PLs) and fulfilment partners
- Ongoing performance management of our local 3PL's and fulfilment partners, ensuring exceptional levels of performance and adherence to agreed SLA's.
- Create a culture which puts the customer at the heart of everything we do, working to optimise the customer experience and maximise NPS results.
- Ensure tight cost control at all times, working tirelessly to ensure end-to-end supply chain costs are optimised.
- Partner closely with the Purchasing and Supply Planning teams to ensure that we are efficiently managing inventory levels and reducing obsolete inventory
- Collaborate closely with global and local stakeholders within TGTG to ensure execution against our Manufacturing goals
- Support tender and negotiation activity, including local evaluation and selection of 3PL's and other logistics partners, working closely with the Head of Global CI & Projects
- Motivate and inspire a team of Logistics Specialists, displaying exceptional levels of leadership and constantly raising the bar.
- +5 years experience managing a 3PL or working as a Logistics Manager is essential - ideally acquired within a B2C food or GM environment
- Demonstrable experience of exceeding targets and optimising levels of customer experience and cost control
- Experience of pan-European logistics is a benefit
- Experience managing carriers is a benefit
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally. You will need to be proactive in developing and maintaining relationships across the TGTG business, ensuring the logistics operation is set up for success and able to support significant levels of growth.
- Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to understand and operate in a fast moving and evolving business environment
- Strong analytical skills - you are confident using raw data to proactively investigate trends and identify new opportunities.
- Exceptional planning skills and ability to navigate changes to market conditions and peak trading periods.
- A passion for the mission and for raising awareness of food waste and sustainability
- You're an excellent communicator - you understand when to speak and when to listen, and you are skilled in leading conversations and presenting at all levels
