- Education Level: Master's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.
- Research Field: Fluid dynamics, control engineering, or dynamical systems.
- Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience with experimental methods (laboratory setups, sensors, data acquisition).
- Background in modeling of dynamical systems and control theory.
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics and related physical modeling.
- Strong programming skills (e.g. Python, MATLAB, or similar) for data analysis and model development.
- Ability to work independently as well as in an international, collaborative team.
- Languages: Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required. Knowledge of French or Dutch is an asset but not mandatory.
- Contract & Duration: This is a full-time PhD position offered for up to 4 years, under the ERC-funded ReTwist project.
