In this role, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
Analysis of the integration of different information systems.
Technical interface between the project leaders and the business users.
Production of software architecture documents.
Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.
Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation
and reporting
Redesign of the application to be cloud ready
Knowledge and SkillsFollowing skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:
Excellent knowledge of node.JS
Very good knowledge of Angular/eUI
Good experience in PHP
Good experience in database environments (MySQL, Oracle)
Knowledge in using tools from Atlassian like JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo and confluence for software
development management
Ability to adapt efficiently and fast into an existing development team
Ability to apply high quality standards
Ability to cope with fast changing technologies
Good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
Analysis and problem solving skills
Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation such as the European Commission, candidatesshould also have the following non-technical skills:
Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and
experience in working in team.
Ability to participate in multilingual meetings.
Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects.
Excellent Team Player
Ability to understand, speak and write in English -min level B2, French will be an advantage.
Specific ExpertiseFollowing specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:
at least 4 years of specific expertise in node.JS
at least 2.5 years of specific expertise in Angular
at least 2.5 years of specific expertise in PHP
at least 3 years of specific expertise in database technologies such as MySQL or Oracle
