SQA Engineer (Supplier Quality Assurance)As an SQA Engineer (Supplier Quality Assurance), you ensure the compliance, reliability, and robustness of supplier deliverables within an industrial environment, in line with quality, regulatory, and normative requirements, including governmental standards.Would you like to take part in building the drones of the future and in the fight against mines? At our brand-new production site in Ostend, you will contribute to the development of high-tech drones.Your responsibilities:Contribute to supplier validation (Supplier Audit Management, supplier selection).Analyze risks and ensure supplier requirements are clearly understood and taken into account.Define quality objectives and monitor performance indicators for a defined supplier portfolio.Manage documentation and approvals prior to production launch (e.g., supplier changes, dual sourcing, product evolution…).Ensure strict monitoring of part/supplier qualifications.Challenge suppliers on the quality and timeliness of their deliverables.Define and optimize component inspections for incoming quality control.Conduct supplier process audits when required.Monitor quality performance, address non-conformities, and drive continuous supplier improvement.Analyze non-conformities raised by incoming inspection, production, and/or customers.Lead containment actions and action plans for non-conformities (corrective, preventive, and temporary measures, QRQC/8D).Plan and carry out supplier audits.Contribute to reducing the financial impact of non-conformities on company results.Manage deviation requests.Update and communicate supplier performance indicators.Actively participate in the improvement of the supplier quality management system.Technical skills:Excellent skills in statistical analysis and quality assurance.Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory compliance.Experience in manufacturing and production processes as well as design principles.Your profileEngineering degree and/or a Master’s degree in Quality, with several years of proven experience in Quality within an industrial production environment.Organized, rigorous, and autonomous; skilled in continuous improvement methods, knowledgeable in quality management systems, and customer-service oriented.Pragmatic, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong interest in proposing improvements to increase efficiency.Excellent interpersonal skills and recognized for effective communication and dialogue with diverse stakeholders.Fluent in French, English, and Dutch.What do we offer you?In addition to an attractive salary package supplemented with many benefits and respect for work-life balance, we at Exail also guarantee:- modern and fine work location in Ostend- company that has attention for personal development of employees- job with a high dose of independence- growing environment and dynamics- 12 ADV days (for full-time employment)The Exail Robotics Belgium team is eager to meet you.
