Internship: Unit Test Framework for production IC Test ProgramsBusiness Unit OptoMEMSInternTessenderlo-HamProject descriptionMelexis engineers microelectronic solutions, primarily focussed on the automotive market. To accommodate the strict regulations in the automotive industry, every IC that leaves Melexis is tested and calibrated in mass production, using custom test programs, also known as a TP.These TPs are an integral part of the production flow. To make the development and continuous improvement flow of these TPs more robust, Melexis is checking to integrate unit tests by developing a unit test framework. Your goal would be to check what would be possible in regards to these unit tests and to develop a framework. During this internship you will have the opportunity to gather experience in the combination between hardware and software, as well as in automatisation, git, pipelines, mass-production and automotive grade electronics.Project goals
Investigating what is possible in regards to unit testing across different products
Developing a framework for these unit tests
Reporting the results of these unit tests in a clear and concise manner
Automating this process
