- Gather evidence to identify main needs, challenges, drivers, and impacts;
- Anticipate change and design public policy responses;
- Provide technical solutions and implement them;
- Coordinate the interaction with key stakeholders and communicate decisions and actions to them.
- manage complex projects, deliver evidence-based outputs on time and to the satisfaction of the EC public policy bodies;
- lead and contribute to proposals, consortia and develop and negotiate budgets;
- provide intellectual & methodological leadership in projects and proposals;
- have established network of partners and experts whom you will be able to activate from day one to win, - manage and deliver diverse public policy projects;
- organise and coordinate specific research contracts (guiding, and ensuring the quality of research, etc.) and communicate with the clients;
- contribute to the leadership, managment and growth of the team by bringing fresh and innovative ideas;
- encourage collaboration and mutual learning;
- contribute to the internal training programme and help to develop junior team members.
- Master’s degree in EU public policy, economics, law, or related field;
- Minimum 8 years of experience in public policy consultancy or advisory roles, preferably with EC institutions;
- Proven ability to lead large, multicultural teams and manage complex, multi-country projects;
- Strong track record in competitive bid writing and winning, including budget negotiation and consortium building;
- Demonstrated ability to foster talent, promote learning, and contribute to internal capacity building;
- Experience in developing and applying research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative tools;
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, including DGs and EU agencies, and manage stakeholder expectations;
- Familiarity with EC procurement procedures and technical specifications.
