What does the role entail?As a System Engineer for Combine Applications, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and improving mechatronic systems within our combine harvesters. You will:Lead design and supplier reviews to achieve a best-in-class system design.Support software delivery through clear, well-maintained system specifications on a multi-CAN, multi-ECU vehicle architecture.Develop functional features according to the V-Cycle and standards such as Functional Safety and Cyber Security.Implement new vehicle architectures and technologies.Work closely with other teams in a cross-functional environment.Have a direct link to the product through practical field testing.Be involved from idea to delivery in a customer-focused development environment.Who are we looking for?Bachelor's or master's degree in automotive engineering or equivalent through experience.Knowledge of mechatronic and control engineering design.Strong communication skills.Experience with automotive communication concepts such as CAN bus and J1939 is a plus.Experience with software development tools such as C-project editors, version control, MathWorks™, and Vector is an asset.Versatile team player who embraces change.Hands-on and customer-oriented.Analytical and problem-solving mindset.Insight into hydraulic, electrical, and electronic control systems.Affinity with or background in the agricultural sector is a strong plus.What do we offer?Working at CNH means working in an international environment with numerous development opportunities.
