The jobThis role provides operational and tactical support to (Senior) Traders, focusing on the Brazilian market. The incumbent acts as a key point of contact for both suppliers and customers, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to market growth.Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain daily communication with producers, suppliers, and freight forwarders to identify the best opportunities and selling conditions.
  • Engage regularly with a significant portion of the customer portfolio in Brazil to monitor market and price trends, respond to inquiries, and follow up on offers.
  • Prepare precalculations and offers based on guidance from Senior Traders, discuss next steps, issue order instructions, and send confirmations to suppliers and forwarders.
  • Conduct credit cover and compliance checks to ensure safe and compliant transactions.
  • Support invoice overdue follow-ups for Brazil, both proactively and reactively.
  • Act as a bridge between Sales and TCU for the Brazilian market, actively participating in weekly follow-up meetings.
  • Assist in approaching new target customers and support marketing-related activities in Brazil.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Management, or a related field.
  • Product-specific knowledge is not required; previous experience in sales or import/export is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Basic analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, ERP systems, and intranet tools.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
  • Persistent, resilient, and accountable, demonstrating a high level of reliability and follow-through.
