- Design, execute, and analyze fermentation experiments to develop microbial-based ingredients for aquaculture.
- Conduct biochemical and microbiological tests, both in-house and in collaboration with Ghent University.
- Coordinate with academic partners to ensure alignment on experimental protocols and data sharing.
- Collaborate with internal teams including formulation, analytical services, and commercial units.
- Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to internal reports, publications, or patent applications.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Hands-on experience in fermentation processes, preferably in a research or industrial setting.
- Experience with aquaculture nutrition or aquatic species health is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, spectrophotometry, and microbial culturing.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across academic and industrial environments.
