We explore new technologies and invest in infrastructure to accommodate hydrogen, biomethane, CO2 and other molecules for a climate neutral future.Within the Installations & Grid Division, Asset & Maintenance Management is responsible for the maintenance programme, devising work methods, and monitoring and improving the reliability and availability of our facilities through technical analyses and innovative solutions.Our Asset & Maintenance Management Department in Anderlecht is looking for a Long-Term Asset Manager (m/f/x).Job purposeYou will join the Asset Management Team, which supports the regional zones and compressor stations regarding the management and maintenance of the gas network and facilities.As a manager, you will guide a small team of experts, set clear goals, supervise the performance of tasks on time and to a high standard, make any necessary changes and manage the team budget.Together with your team, you will serve as the expert for everything connected to asset management, the operation of facilities and the associated equipment. You will acquire the necessary skills, and will advise and support the regional zones and compressor stations.Your responsibilitiesTogether with your team, you will take on the following tasks and be responsible for their proper implementation:
Introducing new equipment, including testing, training, and spare parts management. Monitoring the proper operation of existing equipment, making adjustments where necessary and anticipating the end-of-life phase.
Validating the basic design of new facilities and actively participating in working groups organised by the Engineering Department
Devising general maintenance strategies (preventive, corrective or predictive) and following up on the results achieved
Optimising energy consumption within facilities and processes
Managing important changes to facilities according to the Management of Change (MoC) principle
Developing a strategy for the management and maintenance of future hydrogen and CO₂ stations, in line with Fluxys' ambition to transport H₂ and CO₂ molecules via its infrastructure
About you
A master's degree in civil or industrial engineering or equivalent experience
Between three and ten years' experience in a similar role in the industrial sector
A passion for technology and the energy transition
An interest in new technologies and the ability to analyse large volumes of data
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently handle several topics simultaneously, from research to final implementation
Team spirit
Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and guide others
The ability to maintain good relations with internal teams and suppliers
Excellent knowledge of French or Dutch, with a good command of the other national language and of English
This position also requires the following:
A category B driving licence and a willingness to travel regularly throughout Belgium
