By defining and overseeing working methods aimed at guaranteeing the safety of our staff and local residents and the integrity of our facilities, SMS and Quality also ensures the continuous improvement of these methods and their compliance with applicable legislation and standards.For these requirements to be effectively translated in the field, our teams must have the right technical skills. With this in mind, the Technical Training team, working closely with the businesses, develops innovative technical training courses rooted in operational reality, drawing in particular on the most cutting-edge technologies.This team is looking for a Technical Training Team Leader (m/f/x).Job purposeYou will be responsible for developing and streamlining the technical training on offer within Fluxys Belgium. To this end, you will ensure that a high level of technical skill is maintained among all staff while guaranteeing compliance with the safety rules specific to our sector.Your responsibilitiesDevelopment of training contentYou will support the implementation of innovative training (particularly with regard to new molecules) in line with developments in the sector. Working with the SMS and Quality Manager, you will design and roll out targeted modules (e.g. technical acceptance, safety, ADR), defining the objectives, methods, content, materials, service providers and logistical aspects.You will coordinate internal/external stakeholders and supervise rollout on industrial sites.Back-office management – Technical and administrative managementTogether with the relevant internal teams, you will help structure, maintain and improve processes related to training.You will prepare regular reports based on identified needs and ensure that training sessions are organised smoothly and efficiently.You will support technical teams to ensure proper management of registrations and optimal organisation of training courses.Training offer and qualityDrawing on existing skills matrices and in collaboration with the relevant teams, you will guarantee the quality and relevance of the technical training offered.You will suggest the necessary adjustments, coordinate the simplification of matrices and proactively make sure that the required educational infrastructure is available and appropriate.Training policyBased on a critical analysis of the existing training on offer and in consultation with technical departments and other stakeholders, you will contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of a long-term technical training policy.You will also set the annual priorities.Team managementYou will manage a team of two people, serving as a caring, encouraging leader.You will support your employees, consult them regularly and foster their development, particularly by establishing constructive dialogue.About you
You have a master's degree
You have at least five years' professional experience in a technical environment or one related to training
You are fluent in French with a good command of Dutch, or are fluent in Dutch with a good command of French. You have a passive understanding of English, with a basic grasp of spoken English
You can understand complex technical processes related to the subjects on which training is to be provided
You have excellent teaching skills: you can design training content, set educational objectives, effectively transmit knowledge to trainers and structure suitable materials
You are curious, structured and organised in your work
You are able to work proactively, taking the initiative and having a visible impact
You are a good teacher able to forge lasting relationships with internal as well as external partners
