Lead Engineer Cables

• Being responsible for the engineering, preparation and execution of the projects
• developing method statements for the works before we go execute them offshore
• reviewing and checking Orcaflex work from the engineering department
• reviewing detailed engineering reports, procedures, manuals and method statements
• developing work-packs for the preparatory phase of the project
• when on site, optimizing and implementing the method statements in practice and taking the Lead when necessary
• taking care of ad hoc needs of the project and actively respond to questions from the project management
• ensuring planning, reporting, budget control and cost monitoring.

• Must have: Bachelor / master degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Dredging or Marine Engineering
• Must have: experience in the area of subsea cable installation projects, having both a strong engineering but also installation background and know how to lead a project
• willingness to work abroad on our vessels or projects and in the office
• fluent in verbal and written English
• excellent team player and a good communicator
• Working from the office in Breda. If not living in Belgium or the Netherlands, you need to relocate.
