As our Head of People & Workplace, you'll join our leadership team to shape and scale the heart of Giftify—our people. With the foundational elements of our People & Workplace function set to be in place by the end of 2025, your mission will be to build on this foundation to accelerate our next phase of growth.This is a role for a pragmatic builder—someone who knows what “great” looks like, but who also thrives in the dynamic, fast-moving environment of a scale-up.What you'll do
- Organizational Design & Development: Evolve and align the operating model as we grow—balancing global structure with regional flexibility.
- Culture Leadership: Deepen and embed our values into everything we do—from hiring to recognition to decision-making.
- Talent & Workforce planning: Lead talent acquisition, performance enablement, and career development strategies that support scale while keeping speed and agility.
- Employer brand & people experience: Ensure we're an employer of choice—offering an inclusive, meaningful experience that reflects our values globally.
- People operations & compliance: Strengthen HR systems and processes to be scalable, compliant, and people-centric. Ensure we grow responsibly.
- Workplace & Culture Events: Oversee workplace operations including office management, and physical work environments. Lead planning and execution of key culture-driving events, including two company-wide offsite events per year at rotating international locations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a growing People & Workplace team (currently 5 across HR, TA, and Workplace functions).
- 8–12 years of progressive experience across People/HR roles, ideally including time in both high-growth scale-ups and more structured environments
- Proven track record of building or evolving HR infrastructure in fast-paced, international settings
- Strong generalist foundation, with hands-on experience in both People Operations and HR Business Partnering—you know how to run smooth, compliant operations while also supporting and coaching leaders
- Excellent communication and coaching skills—you lead with empathy and clarity
- Analytical mindset—you use data to inform decisions and influence leadership conversations
- Comfortable in a performance-driven, low-ego culture—you do the right thing, always
- Language skills: Fluent in English is required; French or Dutch is a strong plus
