DFDS is looking for a Sales Director who makes the difference. Someone who thinks strategically as well as cooperates operationally, and who taps into new market opportunities and builds long-term customer relationships with proven commercial flair.In this key position, you will be the driving force in expanding and developing our customer portfolio in Western Europe. You will manage a team of experienced sales professionals and actively contribute to the further growth of the company.Be part of the movement - and play your partSpecifically, your role includes :Duties:- You are responsible for strengthening our market position.- You develop and implement the sales strategy in line with the general business objectives, by offering total solutions to prospects and customers- You identify growth opportunities and are yourself actively involved in key account management and strategic prospecting.- You lead and coach a dedicated sales team, ensuring their continuous development and focus on results.- You build strong, lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders within the logistics chain by maintaining and building customer portfolios, customer visits and active prospecting.- You are responsible for achieving KPIs on commercial targets, margin growth and customer satisfaction.- You represent the company during negotiations and conclusion of cooperation contracts.- You have an active presence at trade fairs, networking events and international meetings where you present and promote our service portfolio.- You participate in regional & international sales meetings.Who are we looking for?- You have at least 10 years' experience in sales, with proven success in the transport or logistics sector.- You are able to effortlessly convert customer needs into commercial opportunities.- You are a natural leader, with an authentic leadership style that inspires, motivates and takes responsibility.
