As a Junior Associate, you’ll be an integral part of our sustainability-focused team. Your mission? To navigate the intricate legal landscape while championing eco-conscious solutions. From advising clients on renewable energy projects to ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, your work will directly contribute to a greener, more resilient world. We work together with our multidisciplinary Tax teams work side by side, both in Belgium and across borders, to help clients make the changes they need to be transparent, accountable and sustainable. It’s better for business and better for society.Key ResponsibilitiesSustainable strategy crafting: collaborate with senior professionals to develop innovative strategies that align legal frameworks with environmental and social responsibility. Imagine crafting legal blueprints and advising you matters related to the EU Green Deal and Fit for 55 policies;Climate Change mitigation and be part of the solution: assist in supporting clients with climate mitigation efforts, while advising on tax & legal matters that facilitate sustainable solutions;Innovative Legal Research: Dive into the latest legal developments related to sustainability. From transparent supply chains to biodiversity protection laws, you will support us keeping ahead of the curve.About youGraduated with a Master Degree in Law;Critical and analytical mindset, dare to challenge and quality awareness;Passion for sustainability: your commitment to sustainability drives you to explore creative legal solutions and integration with our other service offerings;Collaborative spirit: You thrive in cross functional teams. Your ability to communicate complex legal concepts in plain language makes you a valuable asset, a real team player;Adaptability: Sustainability is ever-evolving.
