- Participates in the organization of safety trainings for the rest of the team and security guards
- Promotes and develops the preventive aspect through a climate of trust and benevolent communication with beneficiaries.
- Supports the Logistics Coordinator in the development, implementation, flow management and security within the HUB.
- Organizes and manages briefings on security, project and beneficiary context, mediation approach, and preventive safety measures.
- Incident/accident management, conflict management, decision-making on exclusions and exceptions as needed, flow management, evacuation management.
- Follows up on incidents: reports, filing complaints, contacting the police, etc. under the supervision of the Logistics Coordinator.
- Monitors and reports key elements to the Logistics Coordinator (analysis of security, risks, context, needs, feedback from beneficiaries, etc.).
- Identify current and potential vulnerabilities in the project's security standard operating procedures. Propose and implement, in agreement with the operational managers, the necessary improvements to the project's security plan.
- In collaboration with the MEAL Officer for the Humanitarian Hub, the coordination team and other relevant colleagues, ensures the collection of qualitative and quantitative data on the attendance and activities of the Humanitarian Hub.
- Brainstorm with Humanitarian Hub staff and volunteers to adapt activities and messages to ensure activities run smoothly, make them culturally acceptable, avoid misunderstandings, and improve quality service delivery.
- Participates in strategic decision-making and the implementation of safety and prevention protocols within the HUB.
- Participates in team meetings, trainings and supervision required by the project.
- Upper secondary education diploma and ideally a Bachelor's degree in social sciences, psychology, anthropology, or any other relevant educational path; This is not an essential condition. Any relevant work experience will be taken into consideration.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience related to the position.
- Experience with the homeless and/or migrant public, preferably in Brussels.
- Negotiation skills and have an excellent sense of responsibility.
- Rigor and ability to observe.
- Ability to manage conflicts and stresses.
- Strong skills for cultural mediation, team spirit, effective communication, calm in all situations.
- Taking initiatives, including in an emergency context.
- Good command of French and/or English. Knowledge of at least one of the languages of the reference audience (Arabic, Tigrinya, Pashto, Amharic, Dari).
- Ability to manage relationships with a diversity of audiences while ensuring the principle of neutrality, respect and non-discrimination
- Have a B driver's license

- A full-time permanent contract (39 hours/week).
- A gross salary of €3,315.55 for 2 years of experience; a gross salary of €3,413.07 for 5 years of experience; A gross salary of €3,575.59 for 10 years of experience. Recognized relevant experience.

- Holidays: 20 legal days + 6 days RTT + 4 non-legal days between Christmas and New Year.
