A pre-eminent global law firm seeks a talented Mid-level or Senior Associate to join its growing Antitrust practice in Brussels. The team is recognised as a market leader, advising on all aspects of EU and national competition law, including complex cartel cases, behavioural matters, and high-profile merger control filings.The RoleYou will work within a highly regarded Antitrust team acting for major corporates, financial institutions, and global clients before the European Commission, EU courts, and national competition authorities. The role offers exposure to some of the most high-profile and challenging antitrust mandates in the market. Key responsibilities include:
Advising on complex EU and national competition law matters.
Acting for clients in cartel investigations, merger filings, and behavioural cases.
Supporting cross-border teams on international mandates.
Contributing to business development and client relationship initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
EU-qualified lawyer with strong academics (including relevant masters)
4-7 years' experience in competition/antitrust law at a reputable international or leading domestic firm.
Excellent command of English; French, Dutch and/or German a plus.
Strong legal and analytical skills, combined with commercial awareness.
Team-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication skills.
