The Product Security Engineer will do and guide the development of the product security related tasks for the Barco Clickshare product.You will serve as a point of contact for application teams for all matters related to product security implementation.We are seeking a candidate with strong technical expertise and good communication skills to drive security enhancements and foster a security-first mindset among software developers.Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and improve the product software according to the overall product security strategy.
Propose improvements in software development and testing related to product security.
Challenge R&D teams and system architects about the why and how technical security controls should be integrated and how these can be automated in the deployment pipeline.
Execute and guide threat modeling exercises and security risk analyses during design/development phases
Support in ISO 27001 ISMS/audits for all development and deployment related subjects
Foster and grow the overall security domain knowledge in the global R&D team through the security guild.
Stay up to date with latest security technologies.
Qualification
Master's degree in IT or information security, or equivalent by experience
At least 3 years of experience in embedded software development.
Experience in implementation of security technologies.
Experience performing threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications.
Experience with agile development process across international teams.
Well respected and influential, able to emphasize methodology, modeling, and governance, technologically neutral, persuasive, and enthusiastic.
Good verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and interaction skills.
Fluent in both spoken and written English
