What we're looking forA proactive Account Manager to manage a diverse portfolio of key clients. Your portfolio will find variation in a number of large account clients, complemented by several medium and small accounts.In this role you will be the central commercial contact for your clients, managing their needs and coordinating effectively with relevant internal departments within ODC. You will monitor customer performance, drive profitability, negotiate contracts and develop close and long-term cooperation with customers.Some of your responsibilities:First of all, you are the main contact person for customers and make sure that their needs are met efficiently and effectively. You follow up everything for them, from A (administraite) to Z (after-care)You coordinate and communicate with internal departments in order to provide the best service to your customerMonitoring stock levels, forecasts and the general service level to customersGenerate reports on stock levels and delivery performanceAnalyze customer performance and identify relevant opportunitiesMonitor the Profit & Loss of your customer portfolio and strive for optimizationOrganize meetings with customers to negotiate contracts and build strong partnershipsManage pricing and transportation strategies and develop plans to increase marginsEvaluate existing sales processes and internal key performance indicators to constantly improveRealistically budget for customer demandAttend trade fairs to network with customers and suppliersDevelop and maintain a relevant networkThis is youAn acquired experience in sales or as an account manager for min. 5 years .You can rely on a bachelor or master education in an economic discipline.You have a hands on mentality and are solution oriented.You are always looking for the best way forward and proactively propose optimizations.You have excellent oral and written skills in Dutch, English and French (necessary), any additional language is a plusYou have strong interpersonal skills and are detail orientedYou think long term and can see the bigger pictureYou are a team player and a strong communicatorYou are flexible and can cope well with a rapidly changing environmentAnd above all, you like to take responsibilityWhat do we offer you?To be part of a fast-growing family company with a corporate structure we offer stability, long-term prospects, and the chance to contribute to the success of a leading industry player as of the top 800 largest companies in Belgium (place 789 in 2022) with a global reach.Opportunity for growth and development.
