We’re looking for an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager to join our team in Belgium and play a key role in shaping our procurement strategy.As Indirect Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of indirect procurement within the Belgian market. From supplier selection and contract negotiation to performance management and process optimization, you’ll ensure alignment with company objectives while driving cost efficiency, quality, and compliance across all indirect spend categories.You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and partners to build strong, value-driven relationships and ensure procurement strategies support business goals. This role offers the opportunity to lead, influence, and innovate in a dynamic and collaborative environment.Key ingredients of the role:
- Lead Indirect Procurement in Belgium: Oversee indirect procurement activities, ensuring alignment with functional leaders, business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Develop Strategic Supplier Partnerships: Manage the full supplier lifecycle- from selection and onboarding to performance evaluation and continuous improvement- to foster long- term, value driven relationships.
- Negotiate and Manage Contracts: Secure Optimal Commercial Terms while mitigating risks and ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.
- Drive Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to streamline procurement processes and deliver cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.
- At least a Bachelor/master's degree in Supply chain, Logistics or Economics;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in indirect procurement of strategic sourcing
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Business acumen including financial and analytical skills
- Fluency in Dutch and French and a good level in English;
- Effective and engaging in Stakeholder management
- Excellent assertive communication (clear verbal and written communication to all levels of both internal and external personnel) and presentation skills;
- Strong (pro)active Team Player
- MS Office pack (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher).
