Driven by strong values, it is recognized for its expertise and responsiveness.For one of its key clients located in Mont-Saint-Guibert (Belgium), we are actively looking for a Structure Engineer - Mechanical Calculation.ResponsabilitiesAs a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for performing mechanical analysis of critical components for space systems, working closely with design, assembly, and testing teams.
Perform structural finite element analyses (FEM) on satellite or embedded components.
Conduct static, dynamic, thermal, and fatigue simulations on complex structures.
Interpret the mechanical behavior of various materials (metals, composites, polymers).
Contribute to the mechanical validation of structures through simulations and test-model correlation.
Collaborate with design, integration, and testing teams to optimize structural performance.
Utilize simulation tools such as Ansys, Nastran, or Abaqus with high technical accuracy.
Document analysis results through detailed and traceable technical reports.
Apply industry standards and regulations, including ECSS, NASA, or similar.
Profile
You hold a master's degree in mechanical or aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
You have at least 3 years of experience in structural analysis in a demanding technical environment.
You are proficient in FEM tools such as Ansys, Nastran, or Abaqus.
You understand the behavior of materials under complex loading conditions.
You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken (working language).
You demonstrate scientific rigor, autonomy, and a strong team spirit.
