- Preparing and creating administrative applications for authorisations and/or permits, and submitting and following up on those applications with the relevant administrative authorities (environmental permit, single permit, mixed permit, urban planning permit, domain authorisation, nature/heritage authorisation, etc.) mainly for the Walloon and Brussels Regions as well as for the federal government (road permit, declaration of public utility), all in smooth collaboration with the Infrastructure, Programme Management, Assets and Community Relations departments.
- Monitoring administrative procedures after obtaining permits (including registration in the register).
- Entering data from permits obtained into the database (SAP), managing and monitoring this database (particularly in the context of monitoring compliance with environmental actions in connection with an EMS system (and more specifically ISO14001)) , as well as coordinating content provided by various internal stakeholders at Elia.
- Drafting official letters whose form and content are of optimal quality in order to provide administrations and third parties with an adequate response.
- Making the appropriate contacts, both internally with the various departments at Elia (such as the INFRA teams, the Property Department, the Legal Department, etc.) and with our external contacts (collaboration with our subcontractors, architects and the various municipal authorities, road infrastructure operators, etc.) in order to ensure optimal monitoring of applications submitted.
- Attending certain internal meetings, in consultation with project managers, in order to identify the permits needed for the completion of projects and to ensure their planning and the completeness of applications.
- Attending certain internal meetings and taking part in certain initiatives, in consultation with the Permits & Property South Manager, in order to identify internal alignments and work towards improving them with a view to achieving more optimal and efficient submission of permit modifications and thus ensure the completeness of these applications and ensure they comply with urban planning and environmental requirements in the long term.
- Managing and updating databases relating to the various authorisations/permits: guaranteeing the content of the information, making documents available on the department's server, classifying and archiving these documents (permits, official letters, agreements, etc.) so that the information is available to the entire team and other departments concerned
- You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (case manager)
- You have at least two years of professional experience
- You are attracted to the technical world
- You have knowledge of environmental coordination or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of environmental and urban planning legislation would be a plus
- You have good database management skills (SAP) or you are willing to acquire such skills by demonstrating an aptitude and/or openness to them (ability to enter data into a database, ability to do the necessary follow-up, etc.)
- French is your mother tongue and you have a good knowledge of Dutch or are willing to learn it
- You have good writing skills
- You are structured, organised and meticulous
- You are capable of working independently and you are a team player
- You like to take initiatives
- You have a very good knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel and Access) and Outlook
- You have a category B driving licence
