Through your development projects you will become part of company-wide R&D community that will shape and help you to develop your career into a technical or managerial leader.Join our Technology Centre and be part of our exciting journey towards a Greener Stronger and Smarter Grid.Process engineer role is focused on implementation improvements to process and work flow of the machine included in the process.Your responsibilities:Manage activities of the production units :Monitoring & support daily operations and problem resolutionMonitor daily critical process indicators.Analysis of outliers and spreads and implementation of direct actionSupport operators in their daily problemsWork as a team on recurring problemsBe responsible for the production in an area under your responsibilityCommunicate in a structured manner (emails, analyses, templates) critical informationAchieve production levels collectively with the operator’s teamParticipation to daily stand-up meetingsRedaction of work procedures (work instruction)Be able to manage on call duties 1 time per 5-6 weeksImprovement activities and projects :Study production improvement and loss minimization projects with the relevant managers.Analyse past performance and root causes of non-performance. Implement sustainable solutions as a teamFollow the integration of new digital technologies, supervise the testing and fine-tuning of processes.Operations of the machines :Monitor and optimize the performance of machines and production linesCollaborate with maintenance to maximize production timeStudy potential machine improvements and validate them with the right peopleRelationships within the company and across departments:Be active part of the global team of process engineers in the different Hitachi Energy units (Sweden, Bulgaria, China)Collaborate with the Quality team to identify, understand and correct quality issuesCollaborate with the IT team to understand the plant's digital issues and ensure the development of consistent functionality for the business and operationsCollaborate with the planning team to identify production delays and proactively find solutionsWork hand in hand with all operatorsEnsure compliance with HSE standardsYour background/ requirement:Bachelor’s or master’s degree from mechanical, electronic or electrical engineeringMin 2 years of experience in energy industry, min. 3 years’ experience in working in similar roleLiving not far away than 45 min car ridding from JummetSolid understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA (Design for Assembly) and DFS (Design for Serviceability) principles.Experience conducting FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)Experience in working with stakeholder from different technology area: R&D, QualityExperience in, or ability to develop, project management and technical leadership skills.Communication skills (oral and written) and team worker.Analytical skills and experience with planning, conducting and root cause analysis.Experience in working in Agile environment.You are structured in your daily work and your communications Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.Experience in working with tools: Word, Excel, Teams SAP, PowerBIComfortable understanding and using digital tools (database structure, user interface creation, machine and equipment connectivity, HMI configurations, etc.)Nice to have:Tableau, MES production, Scheduler/PlannerPassioned by technology and sharing knowledge amongst your peersAn interest in LEAN, TPM, Lean Six Sigma and operational excellence methodologies
