At Soetaert, we are committed to innovative foundation, shoring and soil-improvement techniques, which allow us to look at a solution tailored to the project at any location and in any subsoil.What you'll doFor this department, we are currently looking for a Civil Design Engineer Foundations.Your main duties and responsibilities include:
Interpret and analyze design parameters, soil investigation, standards, etc.
Determination of length, width and strength of reinforcement.
Perform stability studies according to applicable standards, guidelines and methods.
Report and identify possible risk factors in the design.
Process calculations into a price calculation for quotation purposes.
Getting calculation notes approved by the client.
What you need.You have a degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering Construction. You have knowledge and/or interest in geotechnical engineering and foundations. You have a strong theoretical background. Experience with stability calculations is a plus. If necessary, opportunities will be offered to further develop your professional knowledge by attending courses, study days,...
