water treatment industry. Your mission is to retain current business with recurring customers
and to create opportunities with existing customers. In this way, you work towards profitable
growth over the long term. To this end, you will develop strong relationships with our largest
customers in the assigned region.
Specific responsibilities include:
● Your ultimate goal is to achieve business targets and goals by obtaining
customer retention and managing pricing. Furthermore, you create new sales by delivering
quality to our customers. This requires a great technical expertise
combined with a good commercial strategy.
● Through your strong and proven interpersonal skills, you will take ownership at
over the efforts by our service, customer care, technology, commercial
operations, supply chain and other support teams to resolve customer needs.
● Perform technical services and provide necessary verbal and written
recommendations that ensure problem-free business operation for the customer.
● Take ownership of and drive the development of strategic relationships at major customers at all levels of the market.
● Your success will be measured based on delivering customer retention, new sales
and developing a target pipeline by providing high value solutions
using the entire VEOLIA Water Tech product portfolio for chemical and monitoring solution departments.
● Actively participate in sales team meetings and training sessions
● Driving initiatives (VGP, NPS, ...)
● Act safely and with integrity to VEOLIA policies.
Reporting to the Area Manager
● Report all work related accidents, illnesses, dangerous events,
near misses, incidents and damages.QualificationsWhat are we looking for?
● A proven experience in commercial or key account management
● A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Applied Science. Chemical
background is required.
● Proven competency to identify customer CTQs and translate them into a solution
of VEOLIA with VGP offering.
● Outstanding presentation and accurate reporting skills.
● Executive charisma and ability to work with senior contacts
● Great flexibility and problem-solving ability
● Industry knowledge in breadth and depth is a plus
● Fluency in both oral and written English and the local language
