CMS activities range from real-time network balancing to market product development, Customer relations and the design of the electricity network of the future.As part of this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- You elaborate the business plan and the budgets with the business (
- You ensure the periodic distribution of relevant information to managers. You identify and analyse the causes of discrepancies between reality and the budget, propose corrective measures and ensure the follow-up.
- You prepare and write reports for the regulator to meet regulatory requirements.
- You analyse the economic and organisational aspects of Elia's activities in order to improve procedures, working methods and tools, particularly in the purchasing cycle and in the valuation of services.
- You will exchange economic and organisational drivers with the senior management with a view to formulating recommendations (interpretation of legislation, decisions of the regulator, economic simulations, etc.).
- You lead or collaborate on cross-functional projects within the business to accommodate the required acceleration of activities.
- You have a Master's degree in (applied) economics, commercial or civil or industrial engineering.
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years as a business controller (or similar position)
- You are at fluent in French or Dutch and English.
- You are rigorous, analytical and critical.
- You like to work independently and create insights in a lot of data.
- You communicate assertively but diplomatically to achieve results.
- You have the empathy and maturity to build relationships with your internal customers and management.
- You like to think outside the box, to question the needs and the existing situation.
- You are familiar with MS Office tools. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
